Eindelijk heb ik weer eens iets geschreven over ons dagelijks leven!

Kasteel Warmelo zandsculpturen / sand-sculptures

 We zijn naar de zand-sculpturen tentoonstelling  van Kasteel Warmelo geweest / we have visited the sand-sculptures exhibition of Castle Warmelo.

Texel / the island Texel

We waren zo gelukkig om een paar dagen naar Texel te kunnen gaan! Gisteren zijn we weer thuis gekomen. We hadden, voor het eerst, een chalet gehuurd. Dit was een sta-caravan. Eerlijk gezegd dacht ik er het mijne van voordat we gingen maar eenmaal aangekomen bleek het een prachtig huisje te zijn, super schoon, mooi ingericht en alles er op en er aan.

We were happy to be able to go to the island Texel for a few days! We came back home yesterday. We hired a caravan and to be honest, before we left, I had the idea it could'nt be much but when we arrived it turned out to be a beautiful house, super clean, everything there.

We hadden slecht weer, behalve de laatste dag. We waren er net toen het begon te sneeuwen (!), het stormde en er is de nodige regen gevallen. Het deerde ons niet echt.

The weather was bad, except the last day. When we had just arrived it started to snow (!), we had storm and a lot of rain. We didn't mind.

  

We hebben genoten! We had so much fun!

Nu is het tijd om verder te gaan met mijn "beer in progress" / now it is time to go on with my "bear in progress"

 

Ook heb ik een eierwarmer gehaakt maar die laat ik de volgende keer zien!
I also crocheted an egg-cover but I'll show that one the next time.

Today I received a present....

I use to make jokes about how much I love to get presents.........but today I DID get a present, completely un-expected!
Remember little Fisherman who got adopted by a dear and loving Daddy in Belgium? Peter..........

There was a box laying behind our door.....box?????   what could that be? Did one of the men order something?

MY name was on it!  My eyes searched the box to find the sender and I found a little sticker with a name and a lovely picture of 2 gorgeous bears!  Peter......Peter????????????????  what.....what????? 

My fingers started trembling......I opened the box.....carefully because there was this word BREAKABLE.....in the back of my head I thought HOW on earth could the postman push this thrue my mailbox and let it drop on the floor???!!!!!   Once the box was open  I found a picture and it looks like 3D!
It is a picture from little Fisherman looking at me and saying:

Oh MY!!!!!!   WHAT a surprise and how SWEET of Peter!  There was this little postcard too, so beautiful, made by Peter Schnellhardt, and Peter had written such sweet words on it!

Again: Oh MY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now, a couple of hours later, my heart has stopped bouncing like an idiot! Ofcourse I wrote words to thank Peter!  But.....whenever you might read this dear Peter.....the whole world may know how much I appreciate your present and how much it means to me!

Visitors!

It was such a surprise when we moved into this house last year to find these beautiful friends in our garden! Every day one of more comes to say hello to us! Most of the time they don't even leave when I didn't norice them and walk into our garden. There are about 5 we think and they are all different. Different in behaviour and different in colour and size. You can see them in the neighbourhood too. They LOVE peanuts! In autumn we saw them hiding peanuts everywhere in the garden.....and half an our later we saw birds looking for the peanuts and "steeling" them! Well, there is enough to eat for all of them! We hope to see their babies this year, you never know!

We expect beautiful weather this weekend, so nice! I wish you beautiful weather too and a lovely weekend! Pink
